Back to Normal, and a Review
So it's official, I'm back to normal eating after the MC. its now Sunday. I weighed myself at the gym on Saturday and am 84.6 kilos, or about 186 pounds, down from 200 so thats a good 14 pounds off, now I just have to stay there, but I feel shiny and new on the inside!
So my official dinner, we had a friend in town last night on business. She works for a merchant company in the online poker business and her and some guys went out inviting us last night.
We went to a restaurant called "Sketch" which I must write about. The menu wasent the best, food was ok, but you're paying for the ambiance. It's one of those Celebrity type places where you go to see and bee seen. There is a website for the place here:

Even though the pictures dont do it justice online it was a complete Salvadore Dali Experience. Its actually an art gallery restaurant, and had some funky bluish and reddish changing lighting inside with arch de tromphs everywhere, sofa and table seating. The washrooms were interesting, they had an oval doable staircase with a red aura on one side, a blue on the other (for male\female sides). Up the stairs was an open plan area with several egg shaped pods which were toilets. A french maid (who served both sides) would help you find a pod. No she didnt do anything inside the pod :P
So my first big meal, half a bottle of wine, gin and tonic, ceviche which admittadly was not as good as real mexican ceviche, and medium duck breast with steamed veggies. The menue was rather bland, with only maybe 7 starters and 8 or 9 main courses, so not much selection.
Starters were priced around 8-11 quid, mains were about 20-30 quid. Prices you'd pay at Rain City Grill, Diva at the Met, Blue water etc on par in Van. But really you go there for the ambiance and atmosphere which was pretty cool with the art and lighting. They had massive projectors with short films playing on the walls (high 100 foot ceilings). So thats it.
I have another story i'll put in another post not to bore you with the long read.
