"Boyfriend broke girl's leg in penis pump row"

A THUG broke his girlfriend's leg after he asked her to buy him a penis pump on the Internet and the transaction failed. Darren Colliver, 30 flew into a rage when Louise Franklin told him the sex aid would not go through on her Visa card. Prosecutor Simon Hodgett told Inner London Crown Court: 'He threatened to beat her up when she got home. She did not go home that night because she was so scared.' The next day, Ms Franklin - aged in her 20's - bought Colliver his favourite cake to placate him. But, when she arrived, he smashed a drawer on to her legs and poured shampoo in her eyes and mouth. He then threw her on the floor, breaking her leg. When Ms Franklin was in hospital, Colliver moved the controls on her electric bed to hurt her more. Colliver, from Peckham in South London, admitted grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, criminal damage and common assult between 2003 and March this year. He will be sentanced on August 21.
